Lei Po`o (Head Lei)

There are many techniques and unique styles used in the tradition of Hawaiian lei making.

Two techniques I prefer to use when I create lei po'o is the haku method, which uses a braiding method to create the lei, and the next is the wili, which is a wrapping technique using twine to secure the flowers to the base.

Every leaf, flower, stem and root, has its own kaona and a story to tell. My passion is to create pieces and have its story be heard.
